See detailsTwo seamless gutter sizes are available. Six-inch is the standard we recommend for typical shingle roofs and is installed as part of seamless gutter installation; 7-inch gutters are the higher-capacity option for flat tile, barrel tile and metal roofs and for steep-pitched shingle roofs.
Rain chains are available as an option on a gutter installation where the location suits them, with placement based on drainage and the volume of water that run carries — a conventional downspout is often the better choice. More on seamless gutter installation.

Sunshine State Gutters forms each seamless gutter on site and custom-fits it to your home. A short film showing the gutter being made through the machine before installation is being produced and will be published here.

Options compared
6-inch and 7-inch gutters, and the drainage that goes with them
Both sizes are seamless aluminum, formed on site. Which one belongs on your home — and which downspouts and components go with it — is decided at the estimate, after we look at the roof, the runoff and where the water has to go.
Standard / recommended
6-inch seamless gutter
The size we install on most homes. It is our recommendation for typical shingle roofs, where the roof planes and the way water reaches the gutter line are well within what this profile handles.

Higher capacity
7-inch seamless gutter
The larger profile, recommended for flat tile, barrel tile and metal roofs, and appropriate for steep-pitched shingle roofs, where water arrives at the edge faster and further out.

Drainage components
These are the components we offer alongside either gutter size. Which combination suits your home is part of the written estimate.
3x4 downspouts
The downspout we use on most residential runs, sized to the outlet and placed where the discharge helps the property rather than moving the problem a few feet over.

4x5 downspouts
The larger downspout, used where a run collects a lot of roof or where a bigger gutter would otherwise be bottlenecked at the exit.

Round downspouts
A rounded profile chosen where the look of the elevation matters as much as the drainage. Suitability is decided on site with the rest of the layout.

Conductor heads
An open collector fitted between the gutter outlet and the downspout. Used where the transition is visible from the street or where an outlet feeds a long vertical drop.

Guard systems fitted to the gutter profile you have, so oak leaves, pine needles and roof grit stay out and the run keeps moving in a downpour.

Warranty
What stands behind the work
Two separate warranties cover a Sunshine State Gutters installation: ours on the labor, and the manufacturer's on the material.
Labor and workmanship
Lifetime limited warranty on gutter installation labor and workmanship, for the original purchaser while they own and occupy the property where the gutters were installed. It is non-transferable.
Gutter material
Registered 20-year limited manufacturer warranty from Ply Gem on the Mastic Performance Metals gutter coil finish, covering chipping, peeling, flaking or blistering caused by a manufacturing defect. It may be transferred once, prorated.
Neither warranty covers storm and hurricane damage or other acts of God, damage caused by other trades, clogging or overflow from lack of maintenance, or alterations made by anyone else. Labor claims must be made in writing within 30 days of discovering the issue. Read the full warranty document.
